Provenance: The Prairie Avenue Bookshop, Chicago. The Bookshop recently closed and Wittenborn Art Books has taken over the distribution of the Wasmuth plates.Provenance: The estate of Blaine and Hulda Drake, who were members of the original class of fellows at Taliesin at Spring Green, Wi. They remained close to the master and later moved with him to Taliesin West, outside of Phoenix, AZ,. The corner of the print was damaged and torn but repaired due to damage sustained famous fire of 1914, which destroyed the architect’s home and studio and most of the edition.
The damaged piece is in the upper left margin, not affecting the image.
The print has been cleaned and de-acidified.
