Prospectus for "Germinal."
Paris: La Maison Moderne, 1899. 4to. 2 page prospectus for the very rare suite of lithographs. 'Germinal' was an 'album de 20 gravures originales', published in Paris in 1899 in an edition of 100. It was put together by Julius Meier-Graefe, and the artists were international. They included Behrens, Bonnard, Brangwyn, Carrière, Denis, Gauguin, Liebermann, Minne, Renoir, van Rysselberghe, Toorop, Toulouse-Lautrec, Vallotton, Vuillard and Zuloaga. Item #16-2572
