Washington, DC: Daughters of the American Revolution, 1936. Folio. Engraved with blue embossed seal and signed by DAR leaders. Dorothy was descended Thomas Windle, a private during the Revolutionary War. She married the artist André Boratko (1912 - 1990) . He was the state director of the Work Progress Administration's Federal Art Project in South Dakota, where he met and married Dorothy then a young widow with two children.
They moved to California in 1943, where he at first he worked as a production illustrator for Kaiser Shipyards. In 1946 he joined the faculty of the California School of Fine Arts. Item #51-0959
