Early 19th century edition of Jean Cousin the Younger's famous manual of artistic anatomy, possibly first published as early as 1571, but most likely appearing first in 1595. The present edition, which is in itself scarce, was corrected and expanded by P.T. Le Clere, and is notable for the fine copper-engraved plates.

Covers scuffed and worn; some foxing and soiling to contents, staining and a few wormholes to final two leaves, title page backed with paper, leaves placed on stubs when rebacked; very good overall. Item #51-2775
