Jouhandeau, was born in Guèret and died in Rueil-Malmaison (France). He collaborated with Marie Laurencin on a number of artist books. Among his best known works L'Amateur d'Imprudences, Chaminadour, De l'Abjetction, Scènes de la Vie Conyugale, Chronique d'une Passion, Eloge de la volupté, Contes d'Enfer, Trois Crimes Rituels and Le Pur Amour. He was married from 1929 to 1971 with the dancer Elisabeth (Elyse) Toulemont, known as Caryathis.......
