19th cent. Lithograph with white highlighting. 42 x 22.5 cm. Some staining. Under image (very pale): "The Staubbach is distant about three quarters of a mile from the Inn. It is one of the loftiest falls in Europe, measuring between 800 & 900 feet in height, and from this cause and from the comparatively small body of water forming it it is shivered by the ? into spray like dust long efore it reaches the bottom (hence its name literally dust fall)" Item #59-0071
