Ten color plates from Pratt's popular six-volume illustrated work on the flora of Great Britain, issued beginning in 1855; a volume on sedges, ferns and grasses was added in 1873. The work was reprinted several times in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Plates are: from Vol. 1, Plate 15, Penny Cress; Pl. 18, Water Awl-Wort; Pl. 36, Common Milkwort; Pl. 41, Procumbent Pearl Wort. From Vol. 2, Pl. 103, Wild Madder; Pl. 105, Rough Fruited Corn Bed Straw; Pl. 145, Greater Dodder. From Vol. 3, Pl. 158, Knotted Figwort; Pl. 176, Spreading Spiked Sea Lavender; Pl. 187, Slender Headed Persicaria.
