Lettering faded on spine, rear endpaper starting at head; small puncture to photographic initial on cover of January 1894 issue, mild toning to leaves and to edges of some plates; very good overall...
Bound volume contains issues for January, February, March, April, May, July, August, September, and October, 1894. The January 1894 issue includes a colored half-tone of The Last Load, Stieglitz's first photograph reproduced in color.




In 1891, Alfred Stieglitz was listed as a contributing editor. In the March, 1894 issue he is listed as the Editor. Issues include technical and aesthetic essays, reviews, camera club announcements, hand-pulled photogravures and other illustrations. Publisher and place changes intermittently.
